Once installed, the app will be available to all of your Jira users. Non-matching license tiers are not available, due to Atlassian Marketplace licensing rules.
Showing the Balsamiq panel on every issue
Atlassian Forge shows an app's panel only on the issues (work items) where it has been added. So after updating from version 4.x, the last version built on Atlassian Connect, issues that already have wireframes may show the .bmpr file under Attachments, but no Balsamiq panel. The wireframes are all there, and nothing needs converting: the panel just needs to be shown again.
To show the panel on one issue, anyone who can edit the issue can click the Apps button under the issue name and choose Balsamiq.
To show it on every issue at once, a Jira admin (only admins see this option) can:
- Open an issue that shows the Balsamiq panel, adding it first as above if needed.
- Click the ••• menu at the top right of the Balsamiq panel.
- Choose Show for all work items.
The panel then appears on every issue, including those without wireframes yet. To undo it, choose Hide from all work items from the same menu.
Stopping your subscription
If you need to stop using Balsamiq for Jira Cloud for a time, select Unsubscribe on the Manage apps page, but do not disable it if you wish to retain the ability of viewing existing wireframe files.
Note: per Marketplace licensing, your subscription and access to the app will end immediately when you select “Unsubscribe”. You will not receive credit for unused time.
